Yes, you read that right…not Island hopping, which is very much fun, but Island hoping, as in hoping that someday you can live here!!

An old friend of mine recently visited the island with his girlfriend, for about the third year in a row, and they finally decided to look at some condos while they were here. See, they are HOPING to someday make St Croix their home.  It was so great to see them, and see how much they love this place, and share in their dream of someday moving to St Croix. And while they are not “ready” yet – they are fueling their dream by looking at places and making some decisions about WHERE on the island they’d want to live.  That’s an important step!  I call it “putting some feet in your dreams!”   Now, some Realtors may consider this a waste of their time; these folks are clearly are not ready to buy.  However, I do this a lot, and I consider it part of my job (and a pleasure) to help people get closer to making their dreams a reality.  So, you “island hopers” are in good hands with me….I just ask for your loyalty in return when  you ARE ready to buy!

This couple has also done something that I have always felt was SO needed here….they have actually written and published a book about snorkeling spots on the island, complete with over 100  photographs of the “underwater” life in each of the five spots they cover.  It’s a fantastic resource for anyone who is visiting here and is interested in exploring St Croix’s underwater venues!
