If you’re thinking about buying something in St Croix but don’t want to spend a lot of money, consider a condo at Vista Mar! These units are close to Christiansted town and Sunny Isle shopping area, not far from great beaches, and have a nice pool. The upper-level units have a sea view and the lowest condo fees on-island ($350 per month). The units are small (700 sq. ft) but well laid out, and they face east so you get great breezes there. We have sold two of these this year, and have one currently on the market and two more coming on the market. These are concrete structures (including the roof) and there’s no commercial windstorm insurance, so to purchase one of these, you have to pay cash. If you wanted to rent out the unit, you could probably get at least $1,500 a month.
