Queen Quarter

Queen Quarter (QU) stretches from north to south shore and is pretty much the center of the island. The north shore offers dramatic beach front and nice views of Buck Island.

While the north shore beachfront is beautiful, there is no reef to protect it and there is a “salt blast” here that makes maintenance a bit of a headache. The south side of this quarter is our main shopping area, “Sunny Isles.” The hospital is located here as well.

Judith’s Fancy is mostly in Queen Quarter and is about 10 minutes west of Christiansted. It’s a gated oceanfront community that includes a gorgeous park overlooking the Salt River (where Columbus landed). It is a nicely diverse area, older as well as newer homes, a wide price range, and a great place to walk.
