Greetings from Rainy St Croix!

Tis the season… the RAINY season…here on the island, and have we had a lot of it! As a result, our island is wonderfully lush and green! But we are a spoiled lot (or, maybe it’s just me, LOL), and going weeks without sunshine is a bummer!! It’s still beautiful here, perhaps even more so due to the lushness, but it’s time for the sun to reappear!

November is traditionally our rainy month, and it generally gives way to our delightful “Christmas Winds” and milder temperatures which typically arrive in early December. Our snowbirds generally show up around the same time, and the island becomes a bustling, festive, fun and BUSY place! No more can we stroll into our favorite restaurants on a whim…. reservations required! But it’s so worth it! It’s great to reconnect with old friends and acquaintances and watch the island transform to a full-fledged buzzing Tropical Destination!

It looks like it might be a particularly harsh winter for you folks up north, so now may be a good time to book your winter getaway to our beautiful little island. Things are booking up fast here, so don’t wait too long! As you’ll see as you read the newsletter, there will be plenty to see and do here, and even if there’s not…there’s always the glorious sea. And yes, you can swim in it here all year long!
