Thanks for 8 great years!!
St Croix Island Life Real Estate recently celebrated our 8th anniversary. I have thoroughly enjoyed building this company and creating an amazing team to serve the people of St Croix’s real estate needs as well as help those wanting to have a home in St Croix find one. In these eight years, we’ve sold nearly $150,000,000 worth of real estate and handled approximately 665 transaction “sides.” This has earned us the position of #6 in total sides out of 50 real estate companies in St Croix. Not bad!
Being a real estate broker was my 4th career – and one of the more enjoyable ones! But the time has come for me to step away from owning this business and focus more on serving a limited number of customers and enjoying my life. I’m no spring chicken anymore, and I have a lot of things still on my bucket list, so I’m happy to announce that St Croix Island Life is now owned by Island Living Collective!!
Island Living Collective is a very successful brand here in the USVI, and own several other independent brokerages in the US Virgin Islands, Including Seaglass, Christies, Islandia and Holiday Homes.. Adding SCIL to their collection will boost their sales volume and ranking even further among the companies here. Their intention is to keep the “St Croix Island Life” brand and conduct business as usual, at least for the foreseeable future, and I have agreed to remain on board with them as their Managing Broker for a while longer, and as a Realtor with them indefinitely. So I’m not “going away” – I’m just handing over the reigns to a younger generation who can help take the company to the next level. They are a truly innovative company with terrific leadership. I’m excited about this transition for me, my team, and our clients!
I’ve had so much fun meeting people and selling real estate here over the past 18 years! I’ve recently completed a collection of humorous short stories called “Selling St Croix.” Most of the stories are from my earlier days – when many mistakes were made (and hopefully learned from!).
