A happy summer to all of you!

We hope you enjoyed some fun Independence Day celebrations this year!  It’s nice to see things getting “back to normal,” isn’t it?  In St Croix, we actually celebrated Emancipation Day (July 3) as well as America’s Independence Day on the 4th.  There were LOTS of fireworks, dancing, partying, and of course bar-b-ques, boating, fun in the sun and water.  Can you think of a better place for summer celebrations than on a Caribbean Island?

The 27th annual Mango Melee happened over the weekend at the St George Village Botanical Gardens.  It was a fun-filled day for the whole family and included food vendors offering delicious mango treats, vendors offering handcrafted artwork, jewelry, clothes and more, fun and educational activities for all, and entertainment throughout the day and evening.

There’s always something fun going on in St Croix!  You can stay updated via “www.gotostcroix.com!”  Our friends there do a great job of keeping everyone apprised of activities, events, new places and fun things do do!

Check out our new listings and note that our market has cooled a bit compared with last year.
