We are excited to present two new agents on our team
SaritaMaré deChabert-Swanson
Introducing SaritaMaré deChabert-Swanson who is a fourth-generation bilingual Crucian, with a Stateside twist. Sarita’s mother is a native-born Crucian who is active in the community, and her father, a Swedish musician hailing from Western NY. Sarita’s grandfather, Austin deChabert Sr., beloved UVI Spanish Professor and his siblings were the creators responsible for Sunny Isle Shopping Center and many other successful Crucian-owned businesses still in operation. Since childhood, Sarita has always traveled back and forth between St. Croix and the mainland. Some of her fondest memories include Crucian Christmas Festivals, Carnival and camping on our sandy shores with her family. At a very early age, St. Croix captured her heart, thus ensuring that one day this island paradise would become her permanent home. Sarita relocated in May of 2020… read more
Kelsey Fischer
After graduating from Miami University with a BFA in Graphic Design in 1993, Kelsey moved to Tortola, BVI, and was immediately taken with the Caribbean and island life. She worked as a graphic designer on-island until 1997, then returned home to Ohio, due to family obligations. Her love of the ocean was a known ever since she was a child. Summer vacations were often spent visiting family in Long Island, New York & Los Angeles, California. She had the chance to travel with her family to Hawaii when she was a teenager. It was her first major experience with island life, and it was never forgotten.
